NBPE buys back shares and names chairman designate

NBPE bought back 42,763 shares and said the lowest price paid was £14.42 and the highest was £14.50.

It said outstanding shares after cancellation were 37,861,284, with voting rights at the same figure. NBPE said shares held in treasury stood at 3,150,408.

Board

David MacLellan was appointed independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman Designate. William Maltby is due to retire in December 2026.

Capital and performance

NBPE said it had $1152 million in net assets and NAV per share was $28. It also reported a NAV return of 1.9%.

The company said it had $150 million of realisations, $104 million of new investments committed and $240 million allocated to share buybacks.

NBPE said private company valuations increased 2.7%, LTM EBITDA growth was 12.1% and LTM revenue growth was 11.1%. It said total available liquidity was $206 million and returned $144 million to shareholders.
