MICHELIN Guide adds 470 hotels in 2026 selection

New selection
MICHELIN Guide released its 2026 selection on September 20, 2026, and said 470 hotels were newly distinguished. The selection covers 2,832 hotels.
The guide said the expansion added 10 new destinations.
Awards
The selection included 155 three-key hotels globally, 657 two-key hotels and 2,020 one-key hotels.
In the Middle East, Africa and India, 189 hotels received MICHELIN Key recognition.
That group included 9 three-key awards, 50 two-key awards and 130 one-key awards.
India had 47 MICHELIN Key hotels, Morocco had 31, South Africa had 32, the UAE had 25 and Saudi Arabia had 17.
Notable hotels
Taj Falaknuma Palace, Taj Lake Palace, La Mamounia, Kasbah Tamadot, Atlantis The Royal, Delaire Graff Estate, Royal Malewane and Desert Rock Resort each received Three MICHELIN Keys.
Londolozi Game Reserve received the MICHELIN Guide Local Gateway Award.
Desert Rock Resort also received the MICHELIN Guide Architecture & Design Award and is in Saudi Arabia.
