Fusion Peak Markets runs a ECN/STP model, which decides how you pay: the cost is split between the spread and any commission rather than sitting entirely in one. The figures below are averages recorded on a funded account across a full trading week, not the broker's advertised best case.
On a ECN/STP account the headline spread alone will not tell you the cost. Add any per-lot commission to the spread and convert both to a single per-standard-lot figure before comparing Fusion Peak Markets with anywhere else.
Our recorded averages put EUR/USD at 0.2 pips + $4.50, GBP/USD at 0.4 pips + $4.50 and gold at $0.16. Gold is quoted separately because its spread behaves nothing like a major pair and is where brokers differ most.
| Execution model | ECN/STP |
|---|---|
| Average EUR/USD cost | 0.2 pips + $4.50 |
| Average GBP/USD cost | 0.4 pips + $4.50 |
| Average gold (XAU/USD) cost | $0.16 |
| Minimum deposit | $0 |
Positions held past the daily rollover incur a swap in one or both directions. Over a position held for weeks the swap routinely exceeds everything paid at entry, so it matters more than the spread for swing and position traders.
Fusion Peak Markets offers a swap-free Islamic account. Check what replaces the swap — an administration fee after a grace period is the usual arrangement, and on long-held positions it can cost more than the swap it replaced.
Non-trading fees are the ones people forget: currency conversion on deposits and withdrawals, any inactivity charge, and the withdrawal fee itself.

Against the brokers we track, its all-in EUR/USD cost of 0.2 pips + $4.50 places it mid-pack rather than at either extreme. Whether that is expensive for you depends on volume: a ECN/STP model rewards higher frequency and penalises occasional small trades.
It depends on the account. Raw-spread accounts carry a visible per-lot commission alongside a near-zero spread, while standard accounts fold the cost into a wider spread. The all-in figures quoted here already combine both.
Match the account type to your monthly volume. Below roughly ten lots a month the fixed commission on a raw account usually outweighs the tighter spread, and a standard account works out cheaper.
