Withdrawals are where a broker's operations show. Meridian Markets supports Bank transfer, Visa/Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill, and in our testing the delays that occur are almost always verification issues rather than the broker withholding funds.
Funds return by the route they arrived on. Card deposits are refunded to the same card up to the deposited amount, with any profit paid by bank transfer — an anti-money-laundering requirement rather than a broker policy.
E-wallet withdrawals typically clear same-day once approved. Bank transfers add the receiving bank's own processing, which is usually where the extra days come from.

Incomplete verification is the usual cause. Complete identity and address checks when you open the account rather than at the point of withdrawal, when the documents will be reviewed under time pressure.
A withdrawal requested while positions are open can be reduced to preserve margin. Close or reduce exposure first if you want the full amount.
Withdrawing to an account in a different name from the trading account will be refused outright by any regulated broker, Meridian Markets included.

E-wallets usually clear the same day once approved; card refunds and bank transfers take a few working days, most of which is the receiving institution rather than Meridian Markets.
Small withdrawals and bank wires may carry a fee, and currency conversion applies if your bank account is in a different currency from your trading account. Conversion is usually the larger of the two.
The common reasons are incomplete verification, a destination account in a different name, or insufficient free margin because positions are still open.
